What to listen to?

Other than that REM track can forum members point me in the direction of some good electric mandolin tracks to listen to that showcase the instrument?Any style/genre 🧐😁

Thanks in advance.

Hey Paul, my exposure to mandolin was limited to what I heard in the 'rock' music I was listening to. So that would have started with Rod Stewarts' 'Maggie May'. The first albums I bought with mando on were Steve Earles's Copperhead Rd (the title track) and around the same time The Levellers - Weapon Called The Word ('What You Know' has a great solo that doubles up with the fiddle). Led Zeppelins 'Battle Of Evermore', Rod Stewarts 'Mandolin Wind' & Steve Earles' 'Galway Girl' I stumbled upon along the way.
